Kayla Ember Band

Kayla is a 17 year old singer/songwriter playing guitar and piano composing original music for her library of eclectic sounds and melodies.

Born in New York she now resides in the Tampa Bay Florida area .

Kayla's love for music drives her to consistently work hard to become a successful artist in the music industry.

Kaylas love for Jazz, R&B and Pop music gives her a unique sound

At the age of 14 Kayla was one of 11 Tampa Bay's young talents selected to participate in Soulsville USA In Performance at the White House song writing session, presented by the LA Grammy Museum and hosted by Michelle Obama. This was were Kayla met and was mentored by some well known artists in the music industry like Justin Timberlake & Mavis Staples. This is also were she met Bob Santelli , executive director of the LA Grammy Museum who later selected Kayla to participate in the 2013. L.A Grammy Museum Music Revolution Project.
Since then as a Grammy Alumni Kayla has participated in Tampa Bays GMMRP as a mentor for new selected Talents and also showcased as a successful GMMRP Alumni performing before the GMMRP concerts at the Capitol Theater and Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater Fl. To add Kayla has been showcased as a Grammy Alumni performing for The 2015 REH Gala and the 2016 REH Gala .

Kayla is Performing on a regular basis in local venues one of them being at The Hard Rock in Tampa. This past year She has had the honor of performing before the legendary Diana Ross concert & Post Modern Jukebox concert. She has also performed her own show in New York City at the famous Bitter End. Kayla has been showcased for the Clearwater Jazz Education Outreach on the Starlight Yacht and invited to perform for other events with Clearwater Jazz Holiday.
