About Holy Ship! Official February Pre-Party

Since 2006, Anna Lunoe has been leaving a trail of exhausted and ecstatic crowds wherever she goes. Clubs throughout Australia have become her weekend playground, she's a festival favorite with multiple appearances at Big Day Out, Splendour in the Grass, Parklife, Field Day, Falls Festival & more, steadily moving closer to the top of bill with each passing year. When artists like Diplo, Daft Punk, Switch, Calvin Harris, A-trak or Soulwax come to town it's more than likely Anna's on support, throwing down a set that has the crowds and the main act talking for days.

Despite having dominated down under for the most part she is no stranger to touring, having racked up a mountain of flyer miles playing world renowned parties throughout Asia, Europe and the U.S. Flashing lights in NYC, Mad Decent & Dim Mak joints in LA, Raves in Kansas City, and all the way across the Atlantic at Ed Banger soirees in Paris, Vice shows through the UK, Razzamatazz in Spain, and Rust in Copenhagen to name a few. In 2009, Ministry of Sound approached her with the prestigious offer of being the first female to curate one of their mixes, and the resulting CD [Clubbers Guide to 2010, mixed alongside Axwell & Hook N Sling] went gold in the snap of a glowstick.

Her reach does not stop in club land. When international brands like Chanel, Fendi, Prada, Louis Vuiton and Hugo Boss need music direction for their shows, whether in London, New York, Paris or Sydney, Anna can be found behind the decks looking as graceful as the models on the catwalk.

So far in 2011, Anna performed across Australia on the Big Day Out tour, completed a month long USA club tour, wowed Japan for MTV, Dj'd (and hosted!) Parklife main stage, mixed her 3rd Ministry of Sound Compilation followed by a national tour, was chosen as the Australian ambassador Smirnoff, returned to Splendour In The Grass [with her all-girl DJ crew Hoops] plus made huge leaps further into the production world.

Her first original production, a disco-inspired collaboration with Wax Motif called 'Love Ting' reached #12 on the national independent radio charts, getting radio play all over the world, with Chuckie championing it on BBC Radio 1. Her second, a dark banger 'Voodoo' (produced alongside LA's Them Jeans) features her on vocals, and is on her new Ministry compilation. It's a very exciting sign of things to come for Anna's production, with some massive releases on the horizon.

Since getting her start on radio over 5 years ago, Anna has gone on to influence numerous fledgling DJs and steer clubbers towards breaking genres in the world of bassline & bashment sounds. At the end of 2010, Sydney magazine named her in their 100 most influencial people list, and she continues to host her popular radio slot on Tastemaker radio station FBi 94.5 each week. Now she is taking on the world- and with heavyweights like Brodinski, Switch, Calvin Harris and Axwell turning up at her shows, its safe to say Anna Lunoe is the little Aussie girl that could, winning over the big boys one spin back at a time.

Based out of Downtown Los Angeles, Mija has established herself as an innovative and fresh new DJ/Producer of this era. Her roots may be based in house music, but nobody puts Mija in a corner. Her genredefying mixtapes and bassline productions keep the masses dancing around the globe.

Mija began her career in her hometown Phoenix, where she became a fulltime DJ in early 2012. In 2014 she was invited to perform on Kalliope, a Burning Man art car, at Bonnaroo Music Festival. It was on that car where she serendipitously ran into Skrillex and played a b2b sunrise set. Just a couple months later, Mija won a mix competition to play on the Black Butter Records stage at TomorrowWorld, where her set was recorded, and truly helped build a steady platform for her career.

Mija is quickly building a massive fan base from countries around the world. With her latest production "Crank It" feat. Lil Jon being released on record label OWSLA, she is making headlines on some of the biggest EDM websites out right now. This is just the beginning for yung Mija. She has national and international bookings under her wing in 2015, with the talent and drive to back it.

J Phlip (pronounced J Flip) known to some as Jessica Phillipe discovered house music in her hometown of Champaign, Illinois, just 2 hours south of Chicago. Sometime around her 19th birthday she got her first DJ rig – two belt drive turntables and a mixer lacking EQ knobs for $100 bucks! From then on, her poor roomates were forced to listen to a constant dance party in-between her Systems Engineering studies. There aren't a lot of 4.0 braniac engineering majors who decide to become DJs instead of cashing in on their degrees but Jessica truly loves the music and has dedicated her life to it.

Her proximity to Chicago's famous house scene tremendously affected her sound, but the distance afforded her the freedom to incorporate a variety of other influences into her repertoire. Her sets posses a fun, "lets-not-forget-this-is-dance-music," feeling and simultaneously keep you guessing about what might come next. Her collection spans house, tech house, deep house, techno, booty bass and pretty much anything that make you shake your ass.

She's currently a well known DJ/Producer in San Francisco. Her skills on the decks and in the studio have secured her highly desirable spot as an official member of the dirtybird crew. She has a residency at San Francisco's infamous Endup nightclub, which is notorious for its non-stop, never-ending parties.

Jessica continues to have new productions coming out on dirtybird where she has signed on as an exclusive original artist. Add to that, remixes on Scion Audio/Visual, Justin Long's Dotbleep Records, and brand new Denver-based label Full Flavor, and original tunes on Alland Byallo's Nightlight Music & the east coast imprint, Airdrop. She is currently Claude VonStroke's favorite support DJ and has already played at amazing high profile gigs like Fabric, Space Ibiza & Back to Basics. She was also chosen for URB Magazine's Next 100 of 2009 and is looking forward to Berlin, where she will be moving in the spring of 2010. Look out for her this spring in Europe – she WILL be making asses shake on the dancefloor and she's just as excited about it as the day she got her belt drives!

(Letter from Claude VonStroke)
"It is not that often that i get to hear someone play who i think is amazing. It is even more rare for me to hear a person that understands what the real "dirtybird" sound is all about. Jessica (J Phlip) is one of those rare gifted DJs who I love to listen to. I can fully attest to her skills on the decks as I have travelled on tour with her from the UK to Spain to Germany and beyond. I promise she can hold her own with anyone I have ever heard play on any stage. If you are thinking about booking someone fresh from dirtybird I really think this is the DJ who can deliver the goods as they were meant to be delivered. Straight from San Francisco with dirty basslines, bootylicious funk, and cute as hell – J. Phlip is the total package. She is moving to Europe for the summer, so this is a chance to hear someone really cool from the original San Francisco dirtybird crew who doesn't sound like everyone else."

Destructo (Gary Richards) began DJing and producing undergrounds in the early 90s in Los Angeles, most notably creating RaveAmerica at Knotts Berry Farm. Rick Rubin subsequently handpicked Gary for A&R in electronic music at Def American Recordings, launching a noteworthy career with such acts as Lords of Acid, Messiah, David Holmes, Basement Jaxx, Dub Pistols, God Lives Underwater and founding 1500 Records and Nitrus Records. After carrying his success to the metal world with No Name Mgmt, Destructo returned to his roots in 2007 by creating HARD. HARD events such as the HARD Haunted Mansion have become synonymous with cutting edge electronic music and unforgettable experiences, where the talent rosters reflect Destructo's own impeccable DJ sets.
