About BRKTHRU TOUR ft. Break Science
Raised and influenced by the rhythm and culture of New York City, Adam Deitch and Borahm Lee fuse generations of the city's rich musical legacy with their own deep-rooted connection to hip-hop heritage. Merging their production styles seamlessly, the duo creates a refreshingly original take on electronic music. The live show transcends expectations with Lee's seasoned trip-hop/dub/jazz vibes on keyboards and Ableton Live and Deitch's thunderous breakbeat style on drums.
This past summer, Break Science electrified the festival circuit with packed dates across the country, including huge plays at Spring Awakening, Detroit Movement, BUKU, and Summer Camp. Lee and Deitch also brought their captivating style to Electric Forest, Bounce, Camp Bisco, Hornings Hideout, Electric Zoo, Summer Meltdown, and KahBang festivals, as well as joining Lotus at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado.
On October 2nd, the duo released their much-anticipated new album, Seven Bridges. The first single, "Who Got It", features a collaboration with hip-hop legend REDMAN and meshes the classic sounds of hip-hop with cutting edge electronic production.
Manic Focus is the musical conception of John "JmaC" McCarten that breaks the bounds of the typical electronic music realm. Being classically-trained on piano at an early age, his musical talents have brought him through the realms of hip-hop beats and electronic music, having now evolved into the dynamic, bass-induced sounds of Manic Focus. A Minnesota native and recent transplant to Chicago, this producer is blowing up the EDM scene.
Manic Focus isn't your typical electronic dance music. His first album, Definition of the Rhythm, provides a broad array of tracks, from energized electro hip-hop to tranquil, melodious grooves. His deep bass lines and popping beats drive the tracks along, while spellbinding melodies and carefully-chosen vocal samples entrance the listener. The essence of Manic Focus lies within his flawless production, weaving together rhythms and effects to create a sheer masterpiece every time.
His second album, Expanding Mind, showcases how Manic Focus is broadening his spectrum, going from dark, majestic sounds toward a funky, bass-laden dance vibe. Now dipping into the realms of house, drum & bass, and glitch-hop, Manic Focus is exploring new genres and continuing to produce pure musical magic along the way.
With continuous new releases and dates stacking up across the country, Manic Focus is on pace to take the music industry by storm. The talents of this producer create a spell-binding effect that only further showcases the evolution of his undeniable musical ability.
Space Jesus is the mind-spawn of Brooklyn NY based electronic music producer Jasha Tull. Fueled by bass and inspired by the intangible, Space Jesus is consistently driven by the urge to create future-based music. Born and raised in New Jersey, Jasha's firm roots in Hip-Hop are apparent in most of his productions. With a focus on bass-line synthesis, hard hitting beats, and psychedelia, Jasha explores a range of genres and tempos with a consistently urban feel.
Beginning in 2010 Jasha created an ever-evolving experience as Space Jesus. Less than a year later, he released his debut self titled 'Space Jesus EP', quickly developing a loyal fan-base throughout the Northeast. It wasn't until the 2012 release of 'PLANiTS' on San Francisco based MalLabel Music that his popularity spread to the West Coast. Soon after, Jasha began working with Rob Uslan, also known as Supersillyus, on a new psychedelic project named Schlang. Do Androids Dance called their debut EP 'Little Information Deposits' one of the best intelligent psychedelic bass records of 2013".
Known for his energetic live performances, Space Jesus recently toured the West Coast on the Road To Sonic Bloom Tour with Janover, The Malah and Kaminanda. He's also been handpicked to support Big Gigantic, Zeds Dead, Conspirator and Rusko, to name a few. Consistently progressing and expanding his knowledge of production and synthesis, he's become a mainstay of the East Coast festival community having performed at Lights All Night, Camp Bisco, Gratifly, Rootwire, and the Dubstep Music Awards.
"In 2008, Jay Jaramillo developed ProJect Aspect, a progressive new paradigm for exploring music and engaging with the community. With over 12 years of dedicated musical experience, three of which were spent producing electronic music, Jaramillo has honed a highly developed style instantly recognizable and uniquely his own. With a pair of the fastest hands in the business and the unbridled passion of an inspired genius, Project Aspect wears his heart on his sleeve and lays his soul bare in every track he creates. His style encompasses everything from stunningly gorgeous electronic anthems featuring sultry female vocals to explosive, window-shattering, dance-floor bangers.
